杰克逊?J.斯皮瓦格尔（Jackson J.Spielvogel），美国宾西法尼亚州立大学历史学荣退副教授，曾师从著名宗教改革史家哈罗德?格里姆（Harold J. Grimm）。专长神圣罗马帝国、宗教改革史和德国史的研究，并且长期致力于西方文明的通史教学与教材编写。他最早在宾州开设“西方文明史”课程，先后共获五次重大教学奖，其中包括宾州大学最具殊荣的教学基金奖——宾州教学奖。他撰写西方文明史及其他世界史教科书，多次再版，被美国各大院校广泛采用。
