作者简介
生于1938年2月10日。1961年自哈佛大学心理系取得硕士学位。曾在麻省理工学院（MIT）心理系担任助教，以及“波特?贝洛奈克与纽曼机构”（BoltBeranekandNewman）和宾州大学担任研究助理。目前为美国心理学会、人类行为与演化学会、儿童发展研究会的成员。1998年，曾获得美国心理学会的“乔治?米勒奖”。着有畅销书《教养的迷思》（商周出版）。
