Diana Crane is Professor of Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania and has also taught at Yale University, Johns Hopkins University, and the University of Poitiers. She has received a Guggenheim Fellowship and a Gulbright Award and has been a member of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton.
